GUIDELINES
 
   Registration:
    Those who wish to play in the Stock Trading Game are required to register.
   Trading Hours
    Trading shall be conducted according to the PSE trading hours:
    Pre-open Period - 9:00 am to 9:30 am
    Open Period - 9:30 am to 2:20 noon
    Run-off Period - 2:20 pm to 2:30 pm
    Market Close - 2:30 pm
   Order Posting
  1. Limit and market orders shall be accepted.
  2. Short selling shall not be allowed.
  3. All orders shall be considered "good for the day" only.
  4. All unmatched orders during trading hours shall be cancelled by the system after the market closes.
  5. Order volume must conform with the defined PSE board lot.
  6. Any order posted by the participant after trading hours shall be held in queue until the next trading day.
   Order Matching
  1. An order shall be processed for matching only if an actual Exchange trade was executed for that stock. All orders with possible match shall be temporarily held in queue until an actual exchange trade occurs.
  2. Number of shares posted for the order shall be completely matched regardless of the actual trade in the Exchange boards.
  3. Limit order: All limit orders shall be executed at the last sale price only if the last sale price is equal or better than the quoted price. (for buying order, a better price is a price higher than the quoted price; for selling order, a better price is a price lower than the quoted price.)
  4. Market Order: All buy orders shall be executed at the best asked price (lowest selling price), while selling orders will be executed at the best bid price (highest buying price).
   Add-on Charges
   Appropriate charges shall be applied as:
  1. Brokerage Fee - 1.5% of the total transaction plus 7% value added tax (VAT).
  2. Philippine Central Depository (PCD) Fee - Ad valorem rate of 0.0000917.
  3. SCCP Fee - Ad valorem rate of 0.00000917.
  4. Stock Transaction Tax - 1/2 of 1% of the value of selling transaction.
  5. Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) for buying transaction.
   Portfolio Computation
    After each transaction, portfolio shall be computed where stock holdings shall be priced at the current trading price plus the cash balance.
   Privacy Policy

    All registration entries become property of the PSE and shall be treated with strict confidentiality. The information in the entriesshall be used for prize verification and security purposes. It shall neither be sold nor transferred to another entity or corporation and shall only be used for the purpose of the STG promotion.
